One giant leap for womankind

The man who helped women to “boldy go” in space has died.
Tom Shanahan, 69, from Chicago, invented a special toilet seat for female astronauts.
Previously he worked on missions including the ill-fated Apollo 13 and his name is engraved on a plaque on the moon.
